Amy Monroe - Executive Chef and Co-Owner

Our Executive Chef has been cooking her entire life - or at least since about age 3 when her grandmother let her help make scrambled eggs for breakfast.  In 2006 Amy began turning her culinary dreams into reality, and earned her Culinary Arts certificate from San Diego Culinary Institute in La Mesa, CA.  From there she went on to start her own catering company, and joined the AFC team in August 2014.

She says, "I’m a hard-working mother of two, doing the things we all do--career, sports and time with my boys, squeezing in the occasional date night with my husband, and finding time for myself.  I’m also a gold medal-winning chef, with a passion for delicious, good-for-you food."

Lynn Fitiausi - Director of Operations, Co-Owner

Lynn is no stranger to food and event management. Growing up in Guam, she learned to cook Filipino, Guamanian, Chinese and Japanese cuisines from a number of relatives. Since relocating to San Diego in 1994, Lynn worked for a number of corporate and private caterers where she was able to learn and master the kitchen and her event management skills.  Over the years, Lynn learned that a successful event requires not only excellent food but jointly excellent staff.  On a daily basis Lynn works diligently as the Office Manager & Staff Coordinator for Authentic Flavors Fine Catering & Events arranging exceptional service for a flawless event.

Jessica Neibauer - Event Coordinator

As Event Coordinator for Authentic Flavors Fine Catering & Events, Jessica brings creativity, precision and dedication to each and every event.  Jessica graduated from San Diego State University with a Degree in Communication and Spanish and soon after began her career in the Events Industry.  Jessica spent several years in San Diego planning and executing a large array of events ranging from large corporate events to extravagant weddings and intimate social affairs before taking her talents abroad to Australia and New Zealand.  After two and a half years down under Jessica was drawn back to two of the things she loves most…. San Diego and Special Events!  With great experience in events of all magnitudes she has incredible ingenuity, an exceptional eye for detail, and genuine passion for going above and beyond to make every client’s event a truly memorable experience.

Justin Fitzgerald - Creative Consultant & Event Producer

Justin has had a passion and devotion for cuisine and special events from a young age working at his family’s Golf & Country Club in the midwest. In 1999 Justin moved to California to pursue his ambition of production and event design, working with Event Producers in Los Angeles, New Orleans and San Diego. Justin specializes in creating unique events for high profile clients and luxury Brands, some of his clients include: Ferrari, Maserati, Bvlgari, Louis Vuitton, Neiman Marcus, and Riviera Magazine.  His warm personality, style and fabulous flair for creating amazing experiences for his clients has given him the reputation as one of Southern California’s most respected and seasoned Coordinators.
